ITMA 2025 Third Offline Working Group Plenary Session

On September 17, 2025, Intelligent Terminal Microelectronics Association (ITMA)  held the third offline working group plenary meeting of ITMA in 2025 at the Sunda Science and Technology Building in Shenzhen. Representatives from nearly 40 member units, including Huawei, China UnionPay, NXP, BGI Electronics, Xiongdi Technology, Fujian Newland, Unigroup, Samsung, and Transsion, attended the meeting and conducted in-depth exchanges on iTAP standard formulation, test system construction, and application implementation.

In his opening speech, ITMA Secretary-General Tai Wei said that promoting the commercialization of iTAP standards is the core goal of the association. Since the Xi'an Conference in the first half of the year, the association has continued to make progress in standard formulation, ecological collaboration and membership expansion, and iTAP technology is accelerating towards multi-scenario applications.


The meeting held a new member awarding ceremony, and China UnionPay, UnionPay Gold Card, Fujian Newland, Xiongdi Technology, NXP and other units officially joined ITMA, injecting new vitality into the iTAP ecosystem.

The A&AC Evaluation Management Committee reported on the latest progress in the first batch of product evaluation, laboratory authorization and evaluation policies, and plans to complete the formulation of the main application layer test standards by 2026. The meeting also discussed the "one-touch and enjoyable" technical proposals and exception handling plans, and accelerated the implementation of standards through multi-party collaboration.

In the industrial exchange session, Alipay, Xiongdi Technology, Qianhai Weisheng, Fujian Newland and other enterprises shared the practical results of iTAP in advertising, transportation, travel and other scenarios. At the end of the meeting, the secretariat proposed to continue to promote the improvement of test standards, ecological collaboration and application expansion, and jointly build an open, safe and efficient iTAP near-field ecosystem.
