With the development of the association's business, the resolution of the Members' Meeting on October 17, 2024: The Intellectual Property Policy (IPR Policy) in the original first edition of the charter was independently written. The latest Intellectual Property Policy (IPR Policy) has been approved by the ITMA Members' Conference on April 23, 2025. The following announcement is now made on relevant matters:
1. Key points of this policy revision
（1）. In order to standardize the specific work of the operation of this association, the previous version of the IPR policy is embedded in Chapter 5 of the ITMA charter, and it stipulates matters related to IPR; this revision is independently written, but it is still an integral part of the ITMA management documents in law;
（2）. This revision is aimed at a series of standards developed by ITMA, which is not limited to the NM scope agreed in the original charter;
（3）. The part of the original Chapter 5 Article 38 regarding the free license of NM hosts was deleted. Regarding the licensing of the original NM card host, the special group discussion suggests that agreements be made in the form of a Statement within the corresponding working group;
（4）. Delete the original Chapter 5 Article 42, which illustrates the content of defensive termination in the form of examples. This amendment is replaced by a more general 2.3 reciprocity clause.
