The ITMA2024 Extraordinary General Meeting was successfully concluded on September 25, 2024 in Shanghai, China. A total of 22 member representatives attended the meeting and confirmed that there were sufficient quorums to attend the meeting. The main topics of this meeting include reviewing and approving the name change of the association, updating the articles of association, adding "application members" and corresponding level rights; The iTAP technical group was established, the brand name solicitation was discussed, and the new membership card was issued.
In the future, with the development of intelligent terminals, the technical standards of ITMA will continue to expand, and in order to better match the business development of the association and cover more new technical standards for terminal applications, the association plans to change its name to "Intelligent Terminal Microelectronics Association".
Due to the name change of the association and the adjustment of the business scope, in accordance with the laws and regulations of Hong Kong, the association has carried out a comprehensive review and revision of the articles of association. The charter mainly adjusts the relevant details according to the actual business situation, and at the same time, in order to meet the needs of the ecological construction of ITMA technical standards, a new Adopter Member is added to adjust the relevant member rights and interests. The new charter will provide greater clarity on the organizational structure, decision-making process and membership rights, ensuring greater flexibility and responsiveness in a rapidly changing market environment. These revisions will provide clearer guidance to members and facilitate the efficient implementation of all tasks.
In order to meet the needs of the rapid development of ITMA's business and further deepen and expand the professional influence of the association in the field of microelectronics, the technical group has submitted an application to the board of directors for the establishment of an iTAP sub-working group.
Finally, the conference was successfully concluded by the Secretariat on behalf of the organization of the trademark name solicitation and discussion, and the representatives of the ITMA directors issued and authorized brands to some new members.
