The ITMA 2020 conference was hold from November 9 to 10, 2020 at the Intercontinental Hotel, Guangdong Province, China. The meeting was hold in the form of "internal meeting in the first half + recommendation meeting in the second half". In addition, wired access was set up to facilitate the participation and exchange of overseas enterprise representatives.
ITMA held the 2020 general meeting on November 9, which was presided over by Mr. Zhang Xuwu, deputy secretary general, and attended by all member representatives. The secretary general, Mr. Tai Wei, first reported on the work progress of the association since its establishment. Then, the meeting introduced and elected the board members, the chairman and the leaders of workgroups of the association, and approved the work plans and standard projects of each workgroup. The meeting finally approved the Chinese version of the association's articles, management procedures and the first year's operating budget.
ITMA 2020 recommendation exchange meeting was held on the morning of November 10. Representatives of all ITMA members, board members, the Secretariat, and representatives of important enterprises in the terminal and storage industry chain attended the meeting.
Mr. Zhou Shengming, President of ITMA Council, delivered a speech at the meeting, saying that with the continuous development of ICT technology, terminals, as the most important media, will bring digitalization to every corner of the world! At the same time, the development of various digital applications also promotes the continuous evolution of terminals. As the core supply link of the terminal, the storage industry is bound to face unprecedented opportunities and challenges.
Then, Mr. Zhang Xuwu, deputy secretary general, gave a comprehensive and detailed introduction of the association's business scope, organizational structure and development plan, membership rights and interests, IPR policy, etc.
Focusing on the theme of "application and development of terminal storage market", Mr. Li Zhongzheng of ITMA market group delivered a wonderful speech on the development trend of terminal storage application, NM card product advantages, market space and application prospect.
Mr. Wang Weikang of ITMA test group introduced in detail the technology development trend of internal and external memory, the technology evolution potential of nm card, and the quality evaluation mechanism of nm card.
Ms. fan Shunan of ITMA technical group published a theme report on "Introduction to technical standards of ITMA", which gave an overall introduction to the responsibilities, collaboration and standardization scope of each workgroup of the association, and explained in depth the specific progress and detailed plan of ITMA technical standards work. At present, the draft of NM card 1.0 standard has been under discussion, and welcome enterprises to join the association in the discussion and formulation of technical standards.
At the end of the meeting, the secretary general, Mr. Tai Wei, made a thank-you speech and expressed that enterprises from the terminal and storage industries are welcome to join ITMA to study the market demand, application development and technology evolution of terminal storage, discuss the technical standards and development direction of ITMA products, discuss the collaborative development of terminal and storage industry, and promote the development of smart terminal storage standards and industry!
